Meahurn the blind, Mahaleap village, Kompong Cham, Cambodia.

Meashun the fruit farmer went blind at the age of 62 after taking counterfeit pills for tuberculosis for three months. The villagers in Cambodia are extremely susceptible to these types of schemes due to the fact that they often can’t afford proper medicine. Now at the age of 65 he passes the time sitting at the entrance of his stilt home peering out into space, his mind navigating the sounds in the fog.
